 Kuta is known as the paradise for surfers.

If you visit Bali, you must put Kuta Beach on top of your must-visit-places-list. Kuta has been known as an icon of Bali tourism. Kuta beach is located at the south-western part of Bali Island. That’s why Kuta Beach becomes a good spot to see the sunset. In the afternoon, a lot of people come to Kuta Beach to see the sunset. There are also a lot of food-courts along the beach where people usually have dinner while seeing the sunset. That could be a romantic place for some couples.

Sanur Beach is located in the east of Denpasar -which is the capital city of Bali. It's about 10 Km far and only takes about 15 minutes from Denpasar. There are many kinds of public transportation that connect Denpasar to Sanur beach. You can either take buses or small public cars. The buses and the cars pass by in every 5 minutes. You can also rent a motorcycle if you know how to ride it.

If you ever notice, most beaches in Bali are gray-sand beaches, especially those that are located along the southern, western, and northern coast of Bali. While in the eastern coast, most of beaches are white-sand beaches. Besides the most popular one, Sanur Beach, there is also one beach which has white sands and crystal blue water. It's Dreamland beach. It's located in Pecatu, about 40 minutes to the south-east of Denpasar. It only takes 10 to 15 minutes from the famous Uluwate Temple. It’s a good idea to make one-time-trip to go to Uluwatu temple and Dreamland beach, since the two resort sites are close to each other.

Tanah Lot has been a common symbol to reflect all of the Bali tourism sites. If you’ve ever seen any pictures of Bali tourism advertisements, then you must have seen Tanah Lot pictures on the ads. You can easily find Tanah Lot pictures in a postcard or a cover of a Balinese tourism magazine. The pictures are about a temple that stands on a big rock with wide sea views in its background.
