If you visit Bali, you must put Kuta Beach on top of your must-visit-places-list. Kuta has been known as an icon of Bali tourism. Kuta beach is located at the south-western part of Bali Island. That’s why Kuta Beach becomes a good spot to see the sunset. In the afternoon, a lot of people come to Kuta Beach to see the sunset. There are also a lot of food-courts along the beach where people usually have dinner while seeing the sunset. That could be a romantic place for some couples.

Kuta beach is also popular as a place to go surfing. A lot of people come to this beach to go surfing. The wave is high and strong but it’s safe. There are national and international surfing championships that are held often in this beach. Professional surfers can take a part in this championship.

There is no need to worry for those who are beginners of surfers. There are some places near the beach where they can practice surfing. You’ll be guided by professional surfers that will teach you how to surf. If you don’t bring any surfing equipments, you can either rent or buy them at the surfing-centers near the beach.

Talking about nightlife, Kuta is the centre of it. Kuta is a never ending place. There are always activities going on day and night. Nightlife in Kuta is great. Visitors can go to clubs or pubs, watch a live music concert, or just walk along the beach. For those who love to go shopping, there are a lot of department stores, souvenir shops, and art shops open at until midnight.

For you all who are big fans of tattoo, Kuta offers great tattoo things. There is a special spot near Kuta beach intended for tattoo fans. You can get a tattoo anywhere on your skin. A lot of different kinds of tattoo pictures are also available. You can choose which pictures suit you best. Don’t worry if they don’t have the picture you want. The tattooing people are professionals. You can just ask them to draw any picture you want. They’re very good at it. You can either choose permanent and temporary tattoos. They have it all.

If you go to Kuta at day time, you will find some local women walk around the beach offering unique service. This kind of service shows warmness and hospitality of Balinese people. It’s a massage. That’s what they offer. They’re actually just local women who try to get money by giving visitors a massage service. Don’t think they’ll give you a perfect and comfortable massage service like in spa-centers. But it’s a good idea too to get massage from them. As we might feel tired after walking or swimming at the beach, a little massage can makes us feels relaxed.

If you feel like getting clothes-souvenirs, there is one popular place called Joger. Joger is a factory that produces special Bali clothes. It’s special because they put unique and funny words on the clothes. So when you wear it, people will read the unique and funny words on your clothes.

The wind at kuta beach blows strongly enough. People sometimes play kites at this beach. You can get the kites at the kite-stores near the beach. There are a lot of different shapes of the kites. Not only the most common shape which is a rectangular or a box shaped kite, but there are also bird, plane, zeppelin, even ship-shaped kites. You can imagine how much the weight of air-balloon or ship shaped kites is, but you can still see them fly in the sky above Kuta beach. It does need a special skill to fly them though. You can ask the guy at the kite-stores to help you fly the kites. Or you can just buy the rectangular or the box-shaped kites which are easier to fly. At some occasions, there are events of kite competition where you can see people from around the world come to take a part in with their unique shapes of kites.

If you feel like spending nights at Kuta, there are a lot of kinds of hotels there. It starts from low price hotels (inns) to prestigious and luxurious hotels. The hotels are located along the beach, so if we you stay at one of the hotels, you can just go to the beach with a walk.
